Valmuen - Linjeforening exist to maintain and improve the social and academic environment for the students at Game School of Inland Norway University of applied sciences.

We aim to convey information and hold events that benefit Game School students both socially and academically. The social events can range from game and board game nights to cabin trips and larger LAN parties. The academic events may include inviting external lecturers, going on excursions, and organizing game jams. Valmuen strives to keep all events free and open to everyone, regardless of what you are studying.

Valmuen is the Norwegian word for the flower “Poppy”. The Organization’s name is a word-play because the flower poppy gives opium, and the Game School’s name was OPIM (Opplevelse Produksjon og Interaktive Medier) up until 2018.

More information about which positions will be open will be provided as the assembly approaches.
